　　这首歌的原唱是 Eric Clapton 艾里克·克莱普顿，一位英格兰布鲁斯歌手，一个大胡子的男人。《泪洒天堂》献给他死去的儿子的。1991年，克莱普顿4岁的儿子由于保姆的不慎意外坠楼身亡，这个打击几乎让他一蹶不振。从此他寄情于音乐，用不间断的创作缓解难以负荷的伤痛，用至情至胜的歌声超度死者的灵魂。
